KATY, Texas — A mystery has finally been solved about a photo album left behind at the Star Pizza in Katy.

We first told you about this story earlier this month. The restaurant owner turned to social media after a family left the album behind in early March, and never returned to claim it.

Two and a half weeks after our story aired, the rightful owner of the album let us know she got it back.

"Ashley" picked it up Tuesday and tells us she left it behind after celebrating her mom's birthday and her newborn baby.

She said she simply forgot the album and didn't even realize it was missing. That's until a friend saw our story and contacted the family to let them know about it.
